Check Eligibility to Transfer EPF Claim: – Employee Provident Fund Organization has launched Previous Member ID Option to allow the member to list last member id as well view linking status. The Idea is to list multiple Member Identification Number (Member ID) allotted to a single member under single Universal Account Number (UAN).
Why do we need to Check Eligibility to Transfer EPF Claim?
In order to transfer the previous member ID PF account to the current member ID PF account. We need to check the eligibility of both the Employer new and previous. Because if one of them or both of them found not eligible to transfer the EPF Claim. Then, it will be headache full for us and Transfer can not be done. Therefore, before performing the Transfer EPF Claim Procedure, it’s necessary to check the Eligibility. Now you must thinking that why Employer may not eligible for the same. I will tell you, sometime, Employer also does not complete their or get verify their necessary document online. Therefore, No claim transfer can be happen to their account and from their account.
How to Check Eligibility to Transfer EPF Claim?
This will help the member to view details of all the Member Identification Number (member ID) and further enable to check the eligibility for online. Transfer claim through the option “List Previous Member ID” and “View Status” from the Menu “Previous Member ID”. In future, there is no need to list the member ids as it will be linked automatically by Form-11 information. The Member needs to disclose his/her UAN/Previous Member ID to the new employer through Form-11.
You can feed the details of your Previous Member ID to link with UAN. The name in the previous member id should match with the name of current member ID. Otherwise, the system will not allow the member to link the previous member ID with UAN.
UAN Can be linked with Member ID as below screen showing the details. Just Tick the Checkbox which says that the information displayed is correct and member account belongs to you. Then, click on the Submit. Once you will click on the “Submit” button. You will be asked to ensure the details. If you feel that you have given the correct details. Then, click on “OK”. Otherwise, you can cancel it.
Once you will click on the “OK”. The below posted Screen will come stating that information has been saved. To link more previous ID’s, you can again select the state, office, feed member id and get the details.
The member can check the status by selecting “View Status” from “Previous Member ID”. The member can also check eligibility for online transfer claim by selecting current member id on the top and pressing the button “check Eligibility” against the previous member id. As showing the below screenshot.
